standard.site || Getting blogs into the ATmosphere quickly

Not long ago, several people pointed me towards standard.site and the Reader. I loved it and wanted in. And since the AT Protocol is a fairly manageable affair, I treated my blog to a bsky account and wrapped up a little Composer package so that any PHP-based publishing platform can be hooked up fairly easily.

Lo and behold, after just a few hours my blog was visible on standard-reader.app.

The package makes a blog and its posts visible on the Atmosphere network (e.g. standard-reader.app) and cross-posts to Bluesky. It has no dependencies beyond ext-curl and ext-json, and can be dropped into your own PHP code in a few simple steps. It isn't registered on Packagist yet, so for now you have to declare the repo in the host project's composer.json:

  "repositories": [
    {...}
    {
      "type": "git",
      "url": "git@github.com:kniebes/io-atmosphere.git"
    }
  ]

Well, the rest is in the README and the example implementation.
